Your travels sound exceptional. We have been hearing about the bad storm in the seas off Chile because a man sailing out of Newport Beach, CA was on a solo sailing trip around the world and he got caught in it. His sailboat lost his mast and was disabled, and this set off a 3-day sea search for him. He was picked up yesterday in pretty good shape, but the boat was scuttled. This made me think of you.
